More dives are aborted and more diving holidays shortened due to ear problems than any other cause.
The Proear mask is the worlds only practical ear protector for divers, designed and developed by diving physicians, engineers and instructors at SAFE DIVE LTD. in order to enhance diver safety and comfort.

BENEFITS

- Syntom: Ear Pain

Cause: Middle ear Barotrauma (´Ear Squeeze´)
pain caused by failure to equalize pressures between the outer and middle ear.
Caused by blockage in the Eustachian tube.
Pressures cannot be equalized and the eardrum is forced inward causing considerable pain, bleeding into middle ear and sometimes rupture of the eardrum.

Benefits from ProEar:
Preliminary results from multiple dives indicate easier pressure equalization.
Possibly explained by lack of stimulation of tympanic membrane and the resultant middle-ear secretions.

Cause: Otitis externa
